The federal government is battling civilian militias in Nevada after armed federal agents moved in on the Bundy family’s land.

Since 1993, Cliven Bundy—the “last rancher in Clark County, Nev.”—has refused to pay taxes to the federal government for the right to raise cattle on land his family has owned since the 1870s.

After a lengthy legal battle, the federal government obtained a warrant to seize all 1,000 head of cattle on the family’s land— a move that will cost the government $3 million.

According to witnesses, federal agents “removing” the cattle are actually KILLING the cattle. They’re also armed with military-style weapons.

“They’re carrying the same things a soldier would,” Bundy said. “Automatic weapons, sniper rifles, top communication, top surveillance equipment, lots of vehicles. It’s heavy soldier type equipment.”

The government has also cut off access to nearby roads and called in helicopters to circle the area.

The Bundy’s son, Dave, was even arrested for taking photos of a state road that was closed by the Bureau of Land Management.

Now armed protesters are showing up on the Bundy’s land to guard the cattle and protest against the federal government.
