Purchasing a camping trailer is a lot like buying any big ticket item. You have lots of options and many different variables to go through. But perhaps the most difficult decision, which affects price most directly, is the trailer’s size.
If it’s too small it won’t be much use and if it’s too big, you’ll pay a hefty price.
But now BeauER has invented an expandable trailer that’s totally changing the camping industry forever.
Many brands of recreational vehicles had the ability to expand manually, like the Gidget Retro Teardrop Camper.
But now a French designer crafted a trailer that opens up telescopically with the touch of a single button.
“A few years ago I wanted to own a little camper from the 1960s. Unable to find any, I decide to make one,” Eric Beauer said. “I wanted it to be small on the road in order to move around easily and large on arrival to make room for a four-member family.”
What’s great about this trailer is that it’s big enough to take on the road with you and the entire family but small enough to store on your property without taking up much space.
In its compact shape, the BeauER 3X only takes up 43 square feet. But when it’s fully expanded families can enjoy a whopping 130 square feet — effectively tripling its size!
You may assume that the camper would be empty on the inside in order to accommodate such a transition. But you’ll be surprised to see that it’s abundantly furnished with a kitchen, bed, and even a living area.
The BeauER 3X even includes a toilet and shower!
